Systemic Symptoms

Brown recluse spider bites can also cause systemic symptoms such as malaise (a general feeling of being unwell), nausea, headache, and myalgias (muscle pain). In severe cases, the bite can lead to an urticarial rash, which is characterized by itchy, red welts on the skin.
